Mr. Daniel Meils is the Director of Scientech's Information Services based in Clearwater, Florida, USA.
He has over 30 years of power plant experience. For the past 17 years he has provided a broad range of consulting services to the commercial power industry and has authored numerous papers and textbooks dealing with information exchange, power plant chemistry, and laboratory QA/QC practices for nuclear and non-nuclear power plants worldwide.
Dan has 17 years of hands-on power plant chemistry experience working for Florida Power and Light's Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant and Public Service Electric and Gas' Salem Nuclear Power Plant as well as serving in the U.S. Navy's nuclear power program.
He has held certifications as an ISO-9000 Certified Quality Systems Lead Auditor and Registered AIAG Auditor and is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the American Chemical Society (ACS), the American Nuclear Society (ANS), and the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). He has also written standards for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). |
